Maggie Gore is Part3’s Product Education & Support Specialist. With over a decade of experience in the architectural industry, she helps customers make the most of Part3 by answering questions, solving challenges, and sharing best practices. She also hosts our virtual training sessions, ensuring new users feel confident using the platform from day one.
Having been a Contract Administrator herself, Maggie knows firsthand how transformative Part3 can be—and now she’s on the other side, helping architects streamline their workflows. We had the chance to connect with Maggie to learn more about her journey, her passion for supporting architects, and what she’s like outside of work.
Who is Maggie?
What is your background and previous experience? What led you to Part3?
"I originally started my path by getting my bachelor's degree in Interior Design. After four years of studying, I was ready to get my feet wet! I dove into the commercial sector while working at a civil engineering firm, and several architecture firms. All while completing a number of BCIN courses, as I was leaving the option open to become a building inspector. While working at architectural firms I learned a lot about the industry while working on the production end for all types of projects.
From there my career took an interesting turn when I was approached to be a commercial and residential property manager. I took on the challenge of jumping into a new industry, managing a portfolio of over 300 tenants/100 properties, all while maintaining my design role, to create permit docs for various commercial tenants, for their renovations and new construction projects. While this role was extremely challenging, it was the many people that I helped every day that kept me motivated.
After an out-of-province move, I left the PM world and went back to architecture, but this time as a Contract Administrator. While working as a CA on large healthcare projects, I quickly learned (and might I say mastered) the Part3 platform. I worked on the prime consulting team, supporting consultants, contractors, and clients. Growing tired of putting out fires in the construction world, I sat down and figured out where I wanted to be, which led me to Part3!"
Why Part3?
What drew you to Part3?
"Having been on the other side as a CA using Part3 to do my work, I got first-hand experience in understanding how the software is revolutionizing the construction industry for the better. The CA role is tough, and it made me so happy that Part3 created a solution to help CAs better manage. It was while using Part3, and interacting with their support team that I grew more curious about what it would be like to be on the other side. The support that I received from Part3 was always exceptional, and that’s coming from someone who has implemented software at other companies, and knows this is rare in today’s market. Oh and did I mention, I love using the software?!?!"
What excites you most about your role?
"Helping others get the most out of the product and their experience. I want to give back the same way Part3 gave to me while I was CA’ing!"
